Responding to friends after thanking them for the birthday wishes on Facebook:

I forgot to thank everyone for wishing me a happy birthday. I’ve been going through the list of people who did so, and it made me feel awesome. As I was looking through all the posts, I saw that my dog was whimpering and crying over something. I had to stop and cheer him up. That’s when I remembered to write this and say thanks to everyone.

PS: I don’t have a dog.😳
