Finding the MAC address, or Media Access Control address, on a computer, Roku, or Chromecast is a simple process.

For a computer:

  1. Click on the Start button and type “cmd” into the search bar.
  2. Click on the Command Prompt program that appears.
  3. Type “ipconfig /all” into the command prompt and press Enter.
  4. Look for the line that says “Physical Address” under the network adapter that you are connected to. This is your MAC address.

For a Roku:

  1. Go to the Roku Home Screen.
  2. Select the “Settings” menu.
  3. Select “Network” and then “About.”
  4. Your MAC address will be listed as “Wireless MAC Address” or “Wired MAC Address.”

For a Chromecast:

  1. Open the Google Home app on your mobile device.
  2. Select the Chromecast device that you want to find the MAC address for.
  3. Select the three dots in the top right corner and select “Device settings.”
  4. Your MAC address will be listed as “MAC address.”

Note: The above steps may vary based on the device, Operating system and version.
