The search for the perfect fur coat

I have been searching for the perfect fur coat two seasons now and I still haven’t found the one. I have been thinking about investing in a more expensive one and have it for a few years, or if I should by one from a more high street brand and treat myself with a nice handbag as well.

I almost had the perfect coat a few month ago, a blue that faded into grey, but it sold out on the top shop sale in June. Now I’m asking myself why I didn’t by it right away? Why do I always wait until the last minute to make up my mind and once I do, it’s to late. I do it every time, regretting my disition of not buying the things I accally want.

Today I walked around in the regular London weather, rain. I moved here in January this year and so far I have seen a lot of this weather. How fast it can change from sunny to rainy and back to sunny in just a few hours. How it can rain an entire day and also how it can be sunny for a whole day, it’s really rare but it do happen. Walking around in this weather I saw people wearing fur coats and vest under their umbrellas and it suddenly hit me, I don’t need the perfect fur coat because I live in London. A rainy city that will mess up my fur coat and make it ugly. The weather is so inconsisting so you can’t really predict if it is save to wear something of fur or not.

But since I have my mind locked on the perfect fur coat I will go for the budget one, instead of crying my eyes out when the London weather strike and ruin my £300 coat.
