Let me ride this bandwagon and blog for a month

I will blog on Medium every day for a month. I have no clue why. I don’t even think I can. But after reading some Medium articles, I got inspired. Although this will take some time, I do believe I’ll gain from this. I’m very analytical. I’ll be graduating this June with a B.A. in Economics with minors in Computer Science and Mathematics. Moreover, I want to continue my career and education in Data Science. So as you can tell, I don’t have many opportunities to explore my creativity which I hope in doing so with blogging.

Yesterday, May 14th, 2017, I wrote my first article. It was a piece debating on who’s the best rapper right now, J. Cole or Kendrick. You can check it out by clicking here.

I have been planning to blog for some weeks. However, I first wanted to create a publication for this venture. Which I must admit, toke me much longer than I initially thought. I learned a bit of Photoshop to create my publication logo. It was a great opportunity to learn something new. And this will be a reoccurring theme in my articles. I love to learn. I will always be a student. I don’t know why people view this as a negative. I get fascinated in learning and improving my technical and social skills. I don’t want to sound cliche but I do think learning and growing are pivotal nowadays. When we are competing at a global level, I think it’s fair to say that we must sharpen our skills.

“So what the fuck is the Nth lives?”

Even though is not perfectly accurate, I will like to think of the nth term as the end point. It’s an iteration of a sequence or enumeration. Thus, I think we should decide the different lives we want to pursuit. We should be able to follow our goals with no fear of failure. Why? Because if everything goes bad, you can always opt out and follow another journey. I don’t want to sound motivational but I do believe that the fear of embarrassment is detrimental. It’s not healthy. I get scared when I see older people unhappy with their lives. I don’t want to end up like them and neither should you. If you live in a first world country, I think you’re in a unique position. There are 15-year old boys earning money from playing video games. There are couples earning a living by simply documenting their everyday life. The opportunities are endless.

So this shall be fun. Blogging for a month will test my discipline and creativity.

See you tomorrow.
