According the Southern Poverty Law Center the party affiliation of KKK members is relatively similar to the communities where they live. The national breakdown is 31% Democratic and 42% Republican.
The problem isn’t conservatism — conservatives would never support a national system of white supremacy — it goes against our core belief that government’s involvement in our lives should be limited. We believe in personal responsibility, limited government, free markets, individual liberty, and a strong national defense. We believe the role of government should be to provide people of all races, genders, and creeds the freedom necessary to pursue their own goals.
To effectuate a White Nationalist agenda we’d need a fascist form of government — clearly not a conservative form of government.
