Ironically, it is the trans community that has the issue with the status quo — that’s why we’re talking about it. At the end of the day gender isn’t a good way to divide people — bathrooms should be neutral and equal. The reality is that ladies rooms (i.e. the ones with the nice lounges and such) always seemed a little unfair to me anyway. Why do they get better accommodations just because they identify as female? If we just have one bathroom for everyone it will work better — shorter lines — fairness for all.
