Detaching: How to Reclaim Your Peace + Maintain It.
Right now, I invite you to let go of everything. All your stress. All those heavy emotions and all those thoughts circulating in your mind. Every decision you’re pondering over and choice you’ve been trying to make, your to do list, your deadlines — for a moment just let it all go.
Try to connect with the feeling that everything will work out exactly how it is supposed to, with or without your involvement. You will be taken care of. There is a force in life much greater than you are alone, and the first step to having peace is accepting this fact.
Give up Control
A lot of people don’t want to accept reality, or they don’t really understand how reality works. Most of us range on the spectrum of being fairly negative to fairly positive people. We either mainly expect good or bad outcomes in our lives. Neither person is wrong. We choose our realities and you can choose to see the good in a bad situation and vice versa; meaning that what you expect is typically what you receive. You’re right no matter what. When you put out a negative thought, that’s what you get back; it’s the law of attraction.
And yet, neither person is 100% right.
Nothing is actually all good or all bad, all of the time. There’s an element of life that’s simply unpredictable and…
