We need incentives for project people… it’s time
Dawid Naude

I work in advertising design. My job description is pretty much “make ~500 web banners every month based on the manufacturers’ monthly promotions, and finish them ASAP within the first 2 weeks of the month so we can maximize our web marketing”…

This pretty much means that the next 2 weeks are empty, or thereabouts (sometimes I’ll have extra advertising or email marketing to work on, but frankly I could work from home on this stuff or at least come in when something actually comes in). During the last two weeks, I am basically wasting gas at 8am and then sitting at my desk for nothing, and then wasting gas some more at 5pm.

I mean come on. The traditional work week doesn’t make sense anymore.
