My thoughts: Glycolic Acid tend to be the ‘harsher’ AHA but because this has a mixture of Lactic Acid, which is the ‘gentler’ one and the only hydrating acid there is, this become one of the gentlest exfoliants in the market. The inclusion of glycerin, aloe vera and cucumber helps to make this soothing as well.
On my skin, this has no sting factor at all, hence i prefer to use this when my skin is feeling sensitised, or 1–2 days after i used a stronger exfoliant such as my PTR Pumpkin Enzyme Mask (review here).
*The total percentage of Glycolic and Lactic Acid combined is 5%.
Final note: If you have sensitive skin and looking for a gentle exfoliant, give this a try!
