The women in these advertisements are shown as inferior and being in a weaker position. When girls and women view images such as these it makes it seem socially acceptable for men to be in charge, possibly making it difficult for many girls to talk out about sexual assault because they feel as if it is “normal.”

It is interesting the approach you took with relating how women are sexually objectified in media and the topic of sexual assault.
On the topic of how women are portrayed in media, we learned and discusses this subject a lot in Visual Culture. It is interesting to think of the reversal role of men posing in the same submissive and gentle poses. Seeing that would not be normal according to society. I think this is a great topic you evaluated!
