Its funny to me when designers look at other products and instantly judge them off how they feel. We don’t stop to think about the process in which the product was created.

I do appreciate the idea of doing what you love outside of that cube you live in for 8+ hours a day. What would be really interesting if in these redesigns they included about three personas to show that their design thinking was based off another piece of information other than what they thought. Another interesting idea could be to go to a coffee shop or a bookstore and ask people to perform a task. Maybe ask people to perform a task on the current project and note the opportunities to create a more valuable experience.
