22 years old and 6’3, Tapsoba has a remarkably solid core to partner his long, muscular legs. He is very strong in the challenge due to his freakish size and athleticism, but also incredibly graceful with his legs. This is highlighted by his composure on the ball, averaging 87 attempted passes p90, and 4.7 progressive carries p90. He is athletically excellent, very focused and composed, and one of the best passing CBs in world football. Despite being right footed, he is very comfortable at playing both down the line and inward from acute angles, so he is capable of playing across a back 3 . His most obvious weakness is in his body orientation when tackling – oftentimes he is too narrow in his stance resulting in slow leg reactions as opposed to the faster hip based movement that is ideal.
