I’ve been reviewing book for decades, at one point at least one a week, I’ve slowed down, but I’ve always had a soft spot for the Indie and Small Press books. The kind where seeing one on the book shelf was like finding a rare stone on a beach. Yes, there are poorly written indie books, but there are poorly written traditional books. In fact if you look back, you will discover, big shock here hold onto your hat, there have always been bad books.

What you are pointing out is the growth of the bellyaching industry which wants to solve the problems of the world by properly apportioning blame. It doesn’t do much other than boost the blamer’s name. I tend to look through the article and roll my eyes before wondering what the world would look if that person ran it, probably a good plot for horror story there. (Actually it’s been done, think it was called Eye in the Sky or some such thing)
