This is a constantly chorused argument. ‘*Guns don’t kill — people kill people*’. ‘Tackle the root problem!’. There have ALWAYS been crazy, angry people. Chances are, there will always BE crazy, angry people. Disenfranchised high-school drop-outs, spurned lovers, pissed ex-employees, simmering sociopaths… That’s humans.

The question is: Do you want your crazy, angry people to have boxes of guns or lots of forks & table legs & corn cobs.

Doesn’t matter much to me — I can’t remember the last time I saw a gun in real life. No-one I know owns one.

But I bags taking down the guy with the fork.
