Life B/W

I’d like to start of this story by saying that life is very precious, and no matter what happens it still is/will be. Some people get too caught up in their dreams that it actually stumps their growth and prevents them from reaching their short and long term goals.

This links back to the heading of this article very well, because that’s what dealing with tough situations is all about. Last week, I found out a day before one of my GCSE Exams, which are quite important in the British Education system, that I would be having it just the next day. It was a language GCSE, which was partially my first language but writing it was much different to the way that I had been speaking it at home since I was a little kid, and grammar was tough. Let me just clarify, I am definitely not one to complain about anything, I only complain about things that aren’t fair and things that can be changed. This wasn’t one of them. So, how did I deal with the fact that I was going to have a very important exam tomorrow, and hadn’t prepared for it? Well, easy (for me). I didn’t panic at all, I thought in my head what do I need to do now that will push me to where I should/want to be? If you are able to answer this question then you are successful. I did exactly what it took, I went through my texts chose one and practiced it until I knew it inside out and would be able to rewrite it the next day. I’ve always been fairly good at memorizing things, but only when under pressure, and think that this goes for a lot of actions and for most (if not all) people in the world.

I work very well under pressure, at least 100% better than I usually do.

The alternative way in which I could have reacted would have been to waste a lot of my time panicking and not doing any think about the situation. This would be the turbulent reaction, which would definitely result in not succeeding the desired outcome.

One thing that I would like to make very clear is that people don’t consider the actual value of life. They think that if a couple of things don’t go there way and some things don’t work the way they should and every thing is a failure.

There is no such thing as failure, but there is not reaching a desired outcome.

The world will always take twists and turns and sometimes it will feel like everything is going against you.

Remember, an airplane doesn’t take off with the wind, it takes off against it.

No path to success or to reaching a desired outcome will ever be dead straight, there’s always twists and turns, difficult decisions, and sacrifices to be made.

Life isn’t about what happens, it’s about the way that you react to it.

But life isn’t about what happens, it’s about the way that you react to it, and the things that you do once things have happened to you. It’s all about moving forward and focusing on the solution, not focusing on the problem.

Too many people in this day and age focus on the problems they’ve had (and try to use them as excuses) instead of focusing on the solutions to the problems, and solutions that will lead them to their end goal.

Stop complaining, and next time you are propose with a situation in which you could easily become turbulent/stress/panic remember this:

Focus on solutions, not problems.
