8 Days in the Alps!

We usually head to the alps once a year, a cycling pilgrimage if you will. This year we decided to ride some climbs we loved and to recreate some of the 1986 tour famous for Greg Lemond and Le Blaireau coming through together on the Alpe d’Huez finish line!

Cormet de Roseland

Unfortunately a bit of a grey and wet start, but spirits were high!

Col de l’Iseran

2,764 meters the highest paved pass in the Alps, you can really feel the air disappearing..

Col du Télégraphe, Col du Galibier

A classic of many tours and a personal favourite of mine, photos somewhat lacking here of the climb since I wanted to give it a good go!

Col de Vars

Not a climb loved by everyone…it’s long and has hidden descents!

Col de la Cayolle

A brute at the end of a long, hard, hot day.

Galibier, Croix de Fer, Alpe d’Huez

I think the route speaks for itself!

Chapeau!
