Getting your first job as a junior developer is hard… very hard. Even though you know your crafts, it is hard to showcase these skills without creating a full website. Which isn’t always the best solution to everything.

E.g. if you just learned Redis or Redux, it would be a bit extreme to create a full website, buy domain and publish it only to showcase that one new skill. Not only would this be expensive with all of the different languages, frameworks and libraries nowadays, but it would also be very time consuming.

Instead you need to create this one project, along with your typical developer Portfolio.

The Project

The project is a website where you can showcase your simpler and unpublished projects, such as an API with Express.js or simple Laravel project with MySQL.
You can see an example of how I created my website using GitHub Pages.

The website can be made with any framework, or laungage. I created it using React, but it could also be created in plain HTML & CSS.

Why create it?
