Hi Roya, thanks for challenging the assumptions I made on the history of the enlightenment and the industrial revolution.

I agree that 11 is not a friendly number to remember. At this stage of my writing I’m choosing to be comprehensive rather than catchy. But it’s a good reminder to see if I can simplify this list before I publish. And yes I’m certain graphics can help — some kind of journey up a perilous mountain pass springs to mind.

The sketches are staying, although I may ask a better artist to tidy up my graphics.
