No, I am not wishing Angela Merkel “Happy birthday”. No! She and the other politicians in the government ignore our privacy and ignore heroes like Edward Snowden and other whistleblowers, she and her party invent new lies to install more surveillance modules around the country, in laws and all because of the great “fear of terrorism”… Yeah — right!

Okay, she turned now 60 years — well, like millions of other people around the world do so or already have done. I am angry and frustrated that Merkel uses nice “selfies” with the german soccer team to position her in a good light and to deflect from the NSA spying scandal. Over a year ago (and more than that Pirateparty and netpoliticians activists) Edward Snowden gave us all a wake up call. But nothing has happened! Really. Nothing serious.

I am still fighting for freedom of speech, free internet (free access to content etc), no-spy, better asylum-laws and against right-winged idiots. You might think, wow, that is strange, you can still congratulate Merkel. I could. But why should I? I am not a fan of her, I am one who always is going to come up with the so called “anti-terrorist-laws” and will remind you when “Big Brother” already has been installed in the german law system, like in other countries (USA, UK, Australia, NZ, Canada).

By the way — George Orwell didn’t write 1984 to use it as a manual, it was a warning!!
