PS, Here is one of the papers on which Dr. Corkin is a senior author, acknowledging the cut, which Dittrich in his book claims was suppressed by Dr. Corkin. It was allegedly very significant just because Annese thought so, but cooler scientific heads (such as Dr. Jean Augustinack, the first author, who, incidentally, was NOT a “young postdoc” as Dittrich described her in his book to suit his dramatic narrative, but who was/is actually faculty at Harvard Medical School and had/has more expertise in neuroanatomy than Annese — check your facts, Dittrich!) weren’t as convinced. Nonetheless, of course they acknowledged its presence. She/they never hid anything scientific about H.M. from the scientific community or from the public. (The same cannot be said for all scientists! Ahem!) The paper: http://www.uonbi.ac.ke/projects/ibro/images/documents/2014/corkin_brain.pdf
