On Holy Love
“The Lord will keep you from harm — -
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
now and forevermore.”
-Psalm 121: 7–8
The Lord displays His Holy Love towards us by the gift of His only begotten son, Jesus Christ. I accepted, in the worst relationship I’d experienced, that God abandoned me. I thought that [truly] God no longer loved me. However, it is now that I realize that especially in the moments [like these] when I felt most isolated that God still held me. He continues to hold me as I process it all. God invites us to be in community with Him and His children, even when we feel alone and unworthy. God asks us to be vulnerable in order to be in relationship with Holy Love. By this vulnerability, we shall find safety and security through God our Savior!
