⭐ Telegram launches Stars digital currency

Telegram is preparing to launch Stars digital currency, which it will unveil on June 12. The new currency is designed to pay for goods and services in bots and mini-applications within the messenger.

The idea for Stars emerged in response to the restrictions imposed by the App Store and Google Play. Previously, users could interact directly with Telegram, which contradicted the rules of these platforms. To eliminate this problem, Telegram introduced an internal shopping system.

Telegram app developers will be able to convert Stars into Toncoin (TON), which will give them flexibility in disposing of the funds they receive.
