Step 2: To Analyze Data (Analyze your competitors)

After collecting data, the next step is to analyze these data. And how should we analyze our competitors? Usually, these data should be taken into account:page content, site layout, keywords, backlinks, paid search/ads and so on.

First, Page Content Analysis

you can pick some main competitors to analyze its page content. By comparing the creativity, originality and Search Engine Inclusion of page content in your competiters’ website.

Second, Website Layout Analysis

You can write a recapitulatory introduction of your primary competitors, which may include some key SEO elements in each competitors’ website, such as traffic, page views, keywords, page content, website layout, backlinks and so on.

Second, Analysis of your competitors’website

The most important step is to analyze your competitors’ website based on the data your collected. It doesn’t mean you need to include all the information in your report, but to point out some key factors that may lead to the success or failure marketing of your competitors. Besides, providing examples will make your analysis much easier to understand.

Third, Making marketing strategy

Putting forward your”own” suggestion in making marketing strategy is very necessary since almost every marketing promoter knows how to use tools and how to collects and analyzes market data. So putting forward your “own” idea is critical when making a “right” marketing strategy.
