KEEP CALM
and
EAT THAT FROG
Promodoro is an italic word meaning “Tomato”. A tomato has some similarity with a timer.

So pomodoro technique is a technique that is used by procrastinators to achieve their goals in time. In fact procrastinators have a thought in their mind that doesn’t allow them to accomplish their tasks and goals before deadline and provide distraction. So, i being a procrastinator used this technique to accomplish one of my tasks. Let me share my experience.
I has to complete my project work within two hour.

I started working in the evening at 8 pm and set a timer of 20 minutes. After each 20 minutes I stopped for a while and started again. I kept on doing my tasks in the intervals of 20 minutes with a 2–3 minutes break each time. While I was working, if something distracts me I wrote it down. I was distracted by these things: Checking my Facebook, using Whatsapp, talking to friends, Checking the data left. I wrote them down to assure myself that I will do all these things once I complete my task. After each interval, I marked a tick on the paper.

Well, it becomes difficult for me to accomplish these things because every time I got distracted it makes me feel uncomfortable. But once I take a step and write that distraction to do it later it makes me feel good. Also, with each interval I feel that I am closer to completing my task so it encourages me and interest develops. So, it is a very useful technique and I will use this technique in my daily routine to reduce my procrastination.
It was really awesome experience for me. Rather it was quite difficult because I usually don’t have practice for doing the things with the same methodology. But I really enjoyed it a lot. Working without the gadgets or without any connection to the rest of the world helps us to understand betters.

More importantly it reduces the length of the time specified for any particular activities. It helps us to maintain focus and to narrow down our interest to the specified work.
It does really helped me a lot to accomplish the task. I finished my task before the expected time which was really surprising for me.
