Going #Extramile

#Extramile towards Success

“Without hard work, nothing grows but weeds.”

Gordon B. Hinckley

I first saw going #extramile in Amal online courses in relation to jobs, and honestly I never did this activity in this sense before. So, I decided to go #extramile and make this great activity part of my life. To do this for the first time I decided to go to NESPAK which holds many projects like Orange Line Train and PIPIP(Punjab Irrigated and Productivity Improvement Program-me).

I went to Engineer Mukhtar sb. who is the Project Manager of PIPIP. He is the first person in Pakistan to introduce the High Efficiency Irrigation System and have a great research expertise on it. He had done many projects in the past and continue with time to time. When a new project arrives he needs field Engineers among the willing candidates.I see opportunity in the coming time. So met him up in his office today and have a brief conversation with him about the possible research going on and my interest and abilities. I asked him to consider me when a project arrives.

I dropped resume to his assistant. It become a good experience and it is very good in terms of conversation between the recruiter and the candidate as this shows the hobby and ardour of the candidate.
I discovered from this activity that you need to pass #extramile, do some thing out of everyday, come out out of your comfort area to be distinguished and a success. This changed into clearly an interesting and fruitful activity. It added self belief in me.
The problems which I faced had been,
I changed into gonna do it for the first time and it appears virtually abnormal and required lots quantity of self assurance and braveness.
Setting the time for the meetup as our teachers are very busy humans so taking their appointment was hard however I did it with patience and determination.
I will do this hobby with more self assurance subsequent time and I may be extra prepared for each next time.
I am making plans to make this my permanent dependency to #extra-mile. This makes the first-rate folks to come out and attain whatever possible.

The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.

“There is no substitute for hard work.”
