Poem by Ali Ahmed

Fashion Designer

I should wear you.

Strip myself and dress again in you

To suffice for all my desires to,

Get closer.

Closest.

I should use your masterpieced body,

God-given, and angel-ridden,

And harvest it onto my canvas.

Use your silked cheeks to gown my under.

Your fullest, round breasts to robe me, overtake my body,

Raise my loft to become your deserver.

Your short, caving hands to sleeve,

And comfort over my shoulder

Your nails to depict as soles,

And uplift mine own.

And every unseen thread upon your head and body, to lace my feet secure.

Your glossiest, soulful eyes to glass my eyes,

Provide clarity in life

Enhance mine, and instill me of what I have been deprived

But keep to yourself your own eyes,

Your lips

Bosom

Hips,

Your nails and threads

Your complexion most rare

Because no man is to deserve it.
