Today I want to introduce Alpine Linux and tell you why it is attractive and what is the difference with other Linux? So if you are interested in Linux, this article is for you.

If I want to introduce this Linux in one sentence, I would say that Alpine Linux is an independent, non-commercial and public Linux distribution, and according to the manufacturer itself:

Made for users who appreciate security, simplicity and efficiency !!!

Alpine Linux is based on musl and busy box and its creators aim for security and simplicity. Let me give you a little explanation to better understand this:

1. musl library: A standard C programming language library built for Linux operating systems.

2 .Busy box (busy box): A very small program that contains the most used Linux commands (it is very compact and only tries to try the commands that are used a lot in Linux).

Note: As I said, Alpine Linux is a completely independent Linux and therefore has its own package manager!

Using Bayesian box and musl makes this Linux much lighter and more efficient than other Linuxes. So light that if you want to install it on a system, you only need 130 MB of space and 1 GB of RAM is enough!

And if you want to install it on Docker containers, the volume you receive is finally 8 MB !!!

The developers of Alpine Linux claim that this Linux is designed to be very secure and its users should not worry about security (it has not had a major and destructive security problem since it was built!)

Result

I hope you have been able to understand Alpine Linux and its performance by reading this article. I would like to write a very small and efficient article so that if someone needs to get acquainted with Alpine Linux, they can get acquainted with this Linux very well in a minute (I hope I have succeeded).

Be healthy and healthy. . .
