How to stop procrastination and just work.
This happens a lot of time especially with creatives and people who are building something new. People like programmers, designers and startup founders.
you just want to write that code, design that thing and do that stuff that you soo want to do. The thing is in life no one is stopping you from success except for yourself.
You are the biggest obstacle in you life, the thing is whatever success that you want to achieve in life, you are stopping yourself from achieving that.
To start doing work and achieving success in life is tp start doing work. No matter how shoddy your work is:
You see beautiful work is life a good nights sleep. Can can’t just jump right into it. You need to close your eyes first and pretend to sleep.
In, work you just need to sit down on your desk without any distractions and just start working. As startup founders you might feel this is hope I can’t do this etc. Just start doing shit and don’t think you can’t do it.
What will happen is at first you will do shoddy work there is no escaping it, but as you go working you are going to improve. And finally a time will come when you would have done it.
It feels so bad when you are procrastinating something . It just takes over you You can’t enjoy yourself because the work is hammering on your head. You can’t happily do any task properly, it just sucks in your life.
And when you are done with the work you are free. It just feels like you have gotten out of some sort of prison and the life is open for you.
So, don’t sit there command you hands and your brain and your eyes to start doing that work that you ought to be doing.
