Using Redux doesn’t mean you should store everything in the Redux State. I see lots of people tend to use Redux State over React Component State. If the action you plan to dispatch has no effect on the rest of the application, just handle things inside of the component. This also makes your code testable than before (it is not necessary to have mock states etc.) and the logic you have will be more confined in the end which will result in less coupling.
