Start your morning by repeating to yourself ‘I love you’.

People struggle with saying I love you to themselves yet it is the one thing that most of us desire, crave, want, and look to others to receive…

Love in all forms, ie:

Acceptance

Happiness

Contentment

Peace

Unity

Friendliness

Gratefulness

Understanding

Self-acceptance

Social acceptance

A validation to who we are.

Yet we are just as empowered by our own recognition and validation of this love as we are by anyone else’s love that we receive, if not more.

Yet most feel uncomfortable reflecting this love onto ourselves; so we look externally, to others.


Start your day looking in the mirror and with your hand on your heart, say to yourself ‘Good morning [your name]’

I.e. ‘Good morning Lisa’

Repeat this practice daily for one or two weeks or till you are comfortable to introduce saying ‘I love you’.

I.e. While looking in the mirror, hand on your heart, say to yourself ‘Good morning [your name] I love you’.

Take notice of how uncomfortable you feel.

Persist and be rewarded as you start to feel the love that is already inside of you flourish.

Your own love that reaps the reward by its own recognition.
