When you come up with a title for your wedding that’s “Bohemian Glam Fiesta,” how could you end up with anything less than amazingness? This is exactly what bride Christina and her planner, Rachel Lunghi of Lace and Likes envisioned, and the result completely hits the nail on the head. Lunghi also spearheaded floral design with her company Siren Floral Co., which delivered a striking array of dusty pinks and orange blooms, a pink carnation ceremony backdrop, and some seriously lusty greenery. Cara Robbins Studio worked magic behind the camera, as usual!

From the bride, Christina: Bohemian Glam Fiesta — that’s basically the title our planner and I came up with to describe the vibe we wanted. Cory and I love tacos/margaritas, so having tacos catered was a no-brainer. Then, somehow, I started running with a fiesta themed wedding and it was tastefully intertwined throughout the night! The beautiful colors, the fun atmosphere, the dancing — all of the things that I wanted definitely came through. We just wanted everyone to feel happy and loved and I think all of the bright colors really helped to execute that.

I love color and was definitely interested in having a very bright and vibrant wedding. We focused on a lot of fuchsia, blues, natural greenery, metallics and terracotta for the day. Our venue was naturally so stunning, so I wanted to keep everything very green and really let nature do the talking. Something about it felt very bohemian, so we added just a spark of glam fiesta to ramp it up a few notches. We wanted to shy away from tradition, so the bridesmaids all wore different dresses and I thought they all looked beautiful together. Lace and Likes DIYed our seating chart, which was made from tiny maracas! They’re such an incredible team and I couldn’t possibly speak more highly of them!

Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? Focus on inviting guests who mean something to you — we had 95 guests and our wedding day was so intimate and special because we knew every person there. We had memories and stories with each of our guests, and that was so important to us. The environment was so warm and much more meaningful because of it. More than anything focus on each other, trust your wedding planner/coordinator, be kind to your vendors, and gracious to your family and friends who are a part of your day. Planning a wedding is overwhelming and stressful but try to stay calm and stay happy!!

From the photographer, Cara Robbins Studio: A little bit about the day… Christina and Cory have to be some of the sweetest people I’ve worked with — their love for each other is so genuine and FUN. They wanted their wedding to have a very bright and party vibe so they decided to go with a fiesta theme. From Christina’s beautiful Rue De Seine dress that incorporated some Mexican lace elements, to the cactus aisle runners, to the beautiful carnation ceremony backdrop — everything was beautifully planned and perfected curated.

The wedding took place at Quail Haven Farms in Vista, CA and provided the most beautiful natural scenery for this wedding. They worked with the ever talented ladies at Lace and Likes and had beautiful florals by Siren Floral. You have to check out their amazing escort card set up with tiny maracas :-). They had a delicious taco station for dinner and the table settings were soo dreamy!
