🐡 The Miracle Morning

The 1-hour Miracle Morning

Wakeup:

  • Instantly rise to the alarm (by having the alarm across the room).
  • Splash water in your face.
  • Drink a tall glass of water.
  • Brush your teeth.
  • Change to exercise clothes.

5 min Silence:

  • Meditate, think deeply about something or practice gratitude. The important thing is to sit in complete silence.

5 min Affirmations:

  • Read out loud statements of who you want to be. For example:
  • “I am energetic, filled with love, and resilient to take on the challenges of life.”
  • “I can do anything I put my mind to.”
  • “The number one skill of influencers is the sincere effort to make a person feel that he or she is the most important person in the world.”
  • “I am strong and will work hard to reach my wildest dreams.”

5 min Visualisations:

  • Picture yourself crushing the day, doing everything you need to do with a smile. Then dream big. See yourself achieving your dreams, being the 10x person you want to be in all areas of your life. The person who is loving, strong, intelligent, confident and makes time for what really matters.

20 min Exercise:

  • For example, running, yoga or biking.

20 min Reading:

  • Read books that develop your weaknesses or help you achieve your goals. Want to start a business? Read books about entrepreneurship. Want to be a better partner? Read books on relationships and how to be more present. There is so much to learn!

5 min Scribbling:

  • Have a physical diary or one on your phone. Write down ideas, dreams and the most important goal for the day. You can also follow pre-made journaling templates found online.

Then, you are ready to take on the world!

The 6-min Miracle Morning

1 min Silence: send a quick gratitude to someone or something in your life.

1 min Affirmations: repeat out loud statements to empower yourself.

1 min Visualisations: visualise your day going perfectly and the person you want to become.

1 min Reading: read a page or two in your current book. Focus on one idea and incorporating it the rest of your day.

1 min Journal: write down your thoughts and set goals for the day.

1 min Exercise: get your heart-rate up with a short burst of exercise!

🐨 Impressions

I have tried this and I feel AMAZING.

I knew meditation seemed great, but I never made time for it. Affirmations and visualisations were completely new to me, but they make such a difference. Now I visualise myself smashing that running session or really doing my homework for the day — and all of a sudden I get excited to make that vision come true!

I recommend preparing for your morning the night before to make it as smooth as possible to get up and shine. I’ve also found that I like to do a longer exercise routine in the morning (30 minutes). But it is up to you to make it work for you!

🐳 Actionable Takeaways

  • Start EVERY morning with the six S.A.V.E.R.S. of life: Sit in silence and meditate. Read affirmations out loud. Visualise who you want to be and how you want to approach the day with strength and energy. Exercise. Read. Scribble by journaling your thoughts.
  • You can do anything you want. Everyone else’s success is just proof of what can be done.
  • The first step is to take full responsibility for your life. YOU are the captain of your ship, you cannot blame others. Everything may not be your FAULT, but your actions and how you respond is your responsibility.
  • Stop letting your rear-view mirror define your past. Talk to yourself with confidence in a way that inspires and makes you feel limitless.
  • You can choose your purpose. And change it whenever you want. Pick something meaningful and live by it. That is the WHY that will drive you.
  • In every action you take, you are practising something. How you do something is how you do everything. Practice who you want to be. Take the actions you know are right to develop yourself.
  • Stay accountable. Find someone to share your goals and dreams with and make sure you both stick to them. You are more likely to show up for a run if you have it scheduled with a friend for 9:00 on a Wednesday morning.
  • Have a sense of inspiration or urgency to drive you forward in your journey.
  • Make a commitment to reread the best books! You will get more out of it each time you reread.
