Its ironic the author used the word petty to describe non-supporters because her entire arguement of why the movie flopped was petty. Seriously, jealously of white wives and boredom of non-supporters was the foundation of this arguement. Then the author proceeds to list evidence of this petty arguement while totally ignoring the disgust women feel about the violation of a woman’s body and choices, aka rape. Then to add fuel to the fire, the author’s shallowness is evident in her inability to investigate and understand black feminsim before she joined the “bandwagon” and disappointingly before she lobbied attacks against black feminists. While others have this insatiable need to progress the Black race by ignoring character, I don’t. Character matters, its not petty, its the foundation for success and integrity of businesses in this country. Tell Nate his lack of integrity and inability to relect on his actions is what caused the movie to flop. Instead of running the same tune: blame Black Women. I will not be your mule.
