Dress for the weather

Before we get to your camera gear, make sure you’re ready for the weather conditions too. This one seems pretty obvious, right? Remember though, that when you’re shooting, you will probably spend a lot of time standing around, framing your shot and looking for that perfect angle. That means you’ll feel the cold so much more intensely than you would if you were moving around consistently.

Check the weather forecast ahead of your shoot, so you can be well prepared for the conditions.

Wear a good base and layer, layer layer. That way, it’s easy to adjust if you get too warm.
