You’re Meant To Do What Only You Can Do Best (Don’t Try to be The Best at Everything)

Good advice. I am a painter, and quite frankly have made the mistake over the years of not having the confidence to focus on that painting because I was worried about never being able to make a decent earn. Hence, there were many time wasting diversions.

Oh well, nevermind. I came to the same conclusion. The important thing is to enjoy life and focus on what, in your heart of hearts you really want to be doing. The clue to making that decision is realising what makes you envious. I was envious of some other artists large and luscious artworks. So now I paint, and make a garden purely as a past-time. Will I succeed financially? Dunno. Don’t care. Eat cabbage!
