The US has struggled to even allow the thought of free healthcare, from both the public and the government. This is a deeply held belief that nothing should be free, while corporations are given permission to stomp all over the country in any way they feel fit, whether it is heavy promotion of tobacco, sugar, pesticides, GMO, or chemicals of all descriptions, etc etc. Quite aside from statistics, isn’t it fairly obvious where damage is being done? And aren’t there examples in other countries where FREE health, education, transport services lift the well being of that country up so that eventually they perform better and ( hallelujah halleluyah omg) economically lift as well? How uncomplicated is that? How generosity works. How not spending so effn much on the military works.
