What a terribly cynical and myopic view. No one is holding Murkowski or Collins up to be feminist icons — just giving appropriate praise where it was due for women who had the courage to stand their ground from the beginning on this particular issue.

Their actions shouldn’t be overshadowed by the theatrics of an old, White man who’s being praised as ‘heroic’ after playing ‘just the tip’ with villainy.

They did the right thing, the courageous thing when it mattered and at a yet-to-be-seen cost.

Doesn’t every woman deserve the fairness of feminism — even the ones we vehemently disagree with on every other issue?
