Ali McLennan

Ali McLennan is also the host of the critically-acclaimed podcast, In Sight which has been featured in the New York Times newspaper. Podcasting saved her from a world of law enforcement where she previously worked in crash scene investigation for ten years. She researches, writes, voices and produces Mysteriously Listed, Beyond Your Nightmares and In Sight podcasts. Ali is excited to have the opportunity to expand these brands over to YouTubes from late 2018.

Ali’s mother always had a strong interest in true crime which had her collecting true crime magazines from a young age. She then took this interest through to her studies, earning a Bachelor with Honors in Criminology and Sociology. Ali has an interest in lesser known cases and victimology which the world of podcasting allows her to share with the world.

Ali lives in the Hunter Valley of Australia with her partner and three children.

1: Mirrors. Release Date: September 7 2018. Mirrors. Something that are difficult to avoid. Not that we want to. We are a very vain species of creature. We are always checking our reflection. To see if our hair is right, that our makeup hasn’t come off, that we don’t have food stuck between our teeth. But what lies under the surface of the mirror. What if what we see staring back at us, isn’t what it seems. What lies Beyond Our Nightmares….

2: Ghosts. Release Date: September 7 2018. Ghosts. You ever fall into one of two categories. You believe in ghosts. In the spirits of the deceased who for whatever reason, cannot pass over onto whatever lies next for them. Or you don’t believe in ghosts. That it is just something people with too of an active imagination make up to explain things like those keys that keep going missing and that sound in the night. What lies Beyond Our Nightmares….

3: Bedtime. Release Date: September 212018. Bedtime is supposed to be a welcomed event for a tired child. But for me it was terrifying. While some children might complain about being put to bed before they have finished watching that movie or completed that level on their favorite video game. For me it was different, night time was something that I truly feared. I think somewhere in the back of my mind, it still is. It’s what comes alive in the darkness once everyone is asleep and you are at your most vulnerable that what would otherwise not seem possible, become the reality beyond your nightmares….

4: Rules. Release Date: October 5 2018. We’ve all been there. We’ve watched a horror movie. Or read the creepypasta. And someone has just gone to a certain place. At a certain time. On a certain date. Done that special thing. And the thing that is so obviously going to happen, of course happens. How can you protect yourself from this if you ever find yourself in such a situation and you don’t know the rules. There are simple rules to follow so you aren’t a victim of a slasher film or a paranormal movie or a creepypasta. You can come out the hero in all of this. Just keep these simple rules in mind so you can survive on behalf of us here at Beyond Your Nightmares….
