I went on a tear and did a bunch of exercises from Exercises for Programmers.

Florian Gilcher very kindly got in touch to help walk me through type inference in a function where I didn’t want to specify the exact return type.

That’s all for today, learned plenty. I understand how the compiler figures out types of things but suspect that I don’t fully grasp the implications of this.
