Tesla CEO Elon Musk has called allegations that he sexually harassed an attendee on a personal plane in 2016 “completely untrue,” per a Business Insider article published on Thursday.
Despite Elon Musk’s denials, Tesla shares fell quite 6% on Friday, in step with Reuters, per the News.

According to Business Insider, Musk’s privately held SpaceX paid $250,000 to settle a harassment complaint from an attendee on a personal jet who accused Musk of exposing himself to her in 2018.

The article quotes an anonymous source who claims to own a known steward.
According to the article, the individual provided a press release as a part of the private settlement process.

“I have a challenge for this lying person,” Elon Musk says.
“I have a challenge for this liar who claims his girlfriend saw me “exposed” — describe one thing, anything (scars, tattoos, etc.) that’s not known to the general public.

She won’t be able to because it didn’t happen. “Musk sent out a tweet late Thursday night.

Reuters couldn’t verify the information within the Business Insider article.

Musk and SpaceX didn’t reply to requests to discuss the Business Insider article or the billionaire’s tweets from Reuters.

“We stand by our story, which is predicated on documents and interviews and speaks for itself,” Business Insider said to Reuters on Friday.

According to a flight attendant’s friend, Musk rubbed the attendant’s thigh.

“Threats against me should be viewed through a political lens.”
According to Business Insider, the tender believed that her refusal to accept Musk’s proposal harmed her chances of performing at SpaceX, prompting her to rent a lawyer in 2018.

According to Business Insider, the rocket company reached the agreement outside of court and included a confidentiality clause that barred the attendee from discussing it.

The news site didn’t identify the boyfriend or attendant.

Musk, who is within the midst of a contentious bid to amass Twitter, announced that he will vote Republican instead of Democratic, predicting a “dirty tricks campaign against me.”

Musk was quoted in the Business Insider article saying that the steward story may be a “politically motivated hit piece” in which there’s “much more to the story.”

He didn’t specifically mention the allegations within the Business Insider article in his first tweet.

“And for the record, those insane accusations are completely false,” Musk said in another tweet.

He also stated that the article was meant to derail Twitter’s acquisition.
