Introducing Exposure for iPhone and iPad.
A great product always begins with “scratch your own itch”. One of the reasons Steve Jobs built the iPhone was that he knew mobile phones should be amazing, even magical. And we think the same about photo apps.
Exposure began with a photo like this:
I wanted to do that cliche color splash photo — Black and White, with the Umbrella in color.
“I can do that easily on Photoshop!”
I wanted an easy way to edit and share that photo with my friends, but filters wouldn’t help me here. Someone suggested me to use Photoshop (“I can do that easily on Photoshop”), but that wasn’t an option for me.
First, I don’t want to do it on my computer.
Second, I always get lost in all those layers.
Third, that little eye freaks me out!
There should be an app for that! I wanted to do that on the go. I wanted to do that on my iPhone.
Exposure was created to be so easy to use that you could edit a photo with a touch. No layers, no little eyes, no laces, and especially NO endless coloring over objects with your finger.
With Exposure, we want to empower the user — to be able to use different effects in any parts of an image. And if your photo has a good contrast you can do it with two taps.
The user experience must be magical.
Not all photos will be so easy, but with Exposure you can easily zoom and make fine adjustments.
As you use Exposure, you will begin to pay attention to the lines and colors that surround you. You will start imagining how that specific effect would look like if applied before you even take the picture.
You can easily do the Tilt shift Effects with Exposure.
Exposure has 7 color effects and 9 artistic effects — there will be more effects coming soon. You can match them and one picture will be worth a thousand pictures! It is magical!
