One rainy weekend we decided to start a honey business together. I don’t remember how it came, but I still feel the excitement we both felt.

My darling — actually her father — produces a little bit more than 1000kg of the best honey every year. Pure acacia from the Hungarian countryside.

The original idea was transforming the honey into modern, consumer friendly and sexy product. Putting a spicy honey sauce on your pizza is awesome, but also it’s hard to produce and even harder to sell. We didn’t give up the fun part. Creating some variations gave us joy as we started at the basic (and awesome) honey-chili infusion, tried the fresh basil added version, but at the fish sauce we had to stop. …
