“we collectively have all the knowledge we need to solve every major social problem in the world. Yet we lack the capacities to synthesize and apply all this knowledge in real time.”
Ever since the beginning, our ancestors were told “Do not eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil” and we failed; miserably.
Now, all of humanity lives in sin: an irrational, selfish disease which refuses to hear the truth of the two greatest commandments:
“Love the Lord your God with your heart, mind, strength and soul. And love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commands.” — Jesus Christ
The only hope for mankind’s salvation in this world and most importantly the next, is repentance of our autonomy on what is right and wrong, giving it back to God, and placing our full trust in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
“For the wages of sin is eternal death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
