I totally agree. The money is such a pittance unless you are one of the chosen ones. Once you accept that, it gets easier to stay true to yourself. The next hurdle is to accept potential rejection and criticism. That one tends to dig deeper into the gut, particularly for emotional writers like me. That moment when someone says you moved them or touched their souls. That priceless moment is why I write 😀
