Lack of interest — A person suffering from memory loss could lose interest in hobbies or activities. They will no more feel the urge to go out with family or friends and spend some time having fun.

Struggling with completing normal tasks — A person suffering from these diseases may gradually lose his ability to complete normal tasks. This symptom usually begins with difficulty doing more complex tasks like balancing a checkbook or playing games that have a lot of rules.

Confusion — The patient suffering from dementia may become confused in many situations. There retaining, thinking or judgment skill lapses and they can no longer remember faces, find the right words, or interact with people normally.

Difficulty following storylines — People suffering from memory loss sometimes forget the meanings of words they hear or struggle to follow along with conversations or TV programs.

Repeating things consistently — Due to this medical condition people often repeat things done once. They may repeat daily tasks, such as shaving, or they may collect items obsessively. Also, they tend to repeat the questions already asked.

Reduced sense of direction — With the onset of dementia a person usually loses his sense of direction and spatial orientation. This means that they may find it difficult to follow a series of directions and step-by-step instructions.

Struggling to adapt to change — The person, who is in the early stages of dementia, may experience fear of forgetting everything. Abruptly, they can’t remember people they know or follow what others are saying.
