Christmas Storybooks For Children
Every year I buy my kids a new storybook at Christmas time. The box of storybooks is usually the first item of Christmas paraphernalia I pull out of the attic.
Often I get this box out and set in in the middle of the living room on December 1st, in time for the kids to find it when they come home from school.
When they come through the door, backpacks are thrown off and homework forgotten as they gather on the floor with their old friends, the stories from past Decembers.
Many afternoons will be spent reading these stories with cups of hot cocoa in the month before they go back into their red tub in the attic. It’s a treasured tradition at our house to collect and read Christmas stories, so I thought it would be lovely to share the list of stories in our Christmas box in case you want to start the tradition at your house!
PS. The first six on the list are my very favorites!
