Before the Travel:

Keep the national and Saudi currency in your wallet.

You should make extra copies of passports and pics and must make the photocopy of all your official documents.

Time:

Use the time in the mosque to complete the recitation of the Quran.

Do not waste your time collecting stones in Arafat because it is the most important day of the Hajj. Stones can be collected after reaching Muzdalifah.

Get to Friday Salah early- around 8–9 am.

In Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah:

When you reach Mina and settle down, just take a few friends with you out of the tent and get acquainted with the high rise landmarks around and try to reach your tent from those points.

Leave early morning towards Arafat on the day of Arafat; better take a bus rather walk.

Do not leave Arafat before Maghrib Azan. After the azan, leave Arafat and offer Salah of Maghrib and Isha in Muzdalifah.

Jamarat (throwing pebbles) after Zohar is best as it is not crowded.
