The cat Mechano 🐈
In one of the episodes of the cartoon series Tom and Jerry, the story tells of the resentment of Tom’s landlord (the anonymous character) from his sense of permanent laziness, and his lack of commitment to his tasks at home, which is to catch mice in general and Jerry mouse in particular.
But because of this uncalculated behavior of the cat Tom, the resentment of (the lady of the house) led her to make a decision to replace him, but with a robotic cat this time (robot). Knocks the door of the house, and comes the mail carrier with the new robotic cat and when the lady opens the brochure attached she finds these words are written:
The cat of tomorrow
No Feeding
No Fussing
And No Fur
Clean, Efficient, Dependable
Then comes the scene of introducing Tom to the robotic cat, but when Tom sees this machine laughs and does not like it, but once that lady turned on the control of this cat, it grabbed the mouse, Jerry, very quickly, and Tom stunned by the scene, and here, he felt that no need for him in the house anymore, and he carried his belongings and left the house for an unknown destination!
The lazy cat Tom represents a lot of people nowadays, and the robotic cat Mechano represents the current technological and industrial revolution, which will be reflected in the dimensions of the near and distant future, and the landlord represents all companies and stakeholders who will not hesitate in their work and will keep up with the evolution and change once it takes place.
The lesson here is that change and development is a real fact and can not be avoided, and will be forced on you, either you accepted or not. Companies, factories, business owners, all stakeholders and all who have a hand in this complex global economic structure will be installed in the process of change. They will not be able to move any hand in an attempt to resist it, and all that you will see will be repeated attempts to keep pace with this development and catch up and will dust off everything old and put it in the disposal stores to get rid of it and start to keep pace with change.
We come here to the lazy cat Tom, a lot of people around us believe that the good opportunities will come without any effort, lying on the back and laziness as Tom did, but the truth and the fact are otherwise. Your desire to develop your personal and practical skills fits proportionally with employer’s desire to employ or maintain you in the current job and not to replace you with the cat (Mechano). This can be measured by the fact that even if all this development occurs, the human element will remain the focus of the loop. In the end, humans cannot be replaced by the machine or the robot, but the need and demand will be high for people who will have sufficient knowledge to deal with these machines, systems, robots, and technology.
Many people will say that it is difficult for us to keep pace with this development and its progress, but you will discover that some of them did not make the slightest effort to try to learn! In the end, this mission and this journey is your responsibility alone, every delay and every laziness will be reflected only on you and your future and your personal life, you are the owner of this decision and you are able to overcome all these challenges and obstacles alone, trying to climb on the backs of others will not benefit you but you will get used to not taking the responsibility and the constant habit to rely on the energies of others with the complete absence of your abilities and personal skills.
