I saw Lex Williford and Meg Tuite (and probably a couple others I can’t remember the name of) on a great Flash Fiction panel at AWP a couple years ago. Glad to see Lex’s gems here in this essay and to put together that he was the one who won this year’s Rose Metal. Now off to go buy it!
