Dammit, Jon. You’re on a roll with these articles, brother. I’ve been neglecting my Evernote for some time and I might dust it off. It does have pretty cool cloud capabilities for working in it on your phone and laptop.

The one thing that will be difficult to mimic in your process will be the sheer volume of ideas you have. I know while trying to get my blog up and running that I spent so much time drafting and editing content that I wasn’t DOING anything. I wasn’t garnering new experiences and ideas to inspire new posts, I was too busy writing! The irony being that I quit my job for the freedom of writing just to be bogged down in more work than ever. That’s probably just the chore of starting and something that will ease with time as I start to find the gems in my daily life and jot them down as you do.

Your process may not be perfect but it is getting the job done.
